A Brief Outline of some of the Services Provided
Homecare
We aim to maintain independence and enhance quality of life.
Help and Caring
The daily routine of getting up, toileting, washing, dressing
and making breakfast.
Housework
Someone to clean the house, make a snack or drink, wash up,
do the laundry etc. to the satisfaction of each individual.
Shopping/ Escort/ Visit
Normal household shopping carried out by the staff. Accompany
the clients to the shops, to visit friends, to attend clubs
and and meetings or to keep appointments with hospitals, doctors,
dentists and so on. Escorting arrangements can also be made
for a whole day or outings, attending exhibitions in different
areas and even accompanying one on holiday in the UK or abroad.
Laundry Service
Dirty linen and clothing are collected by arrangement and
returned within 48 hours, freshly laundered and ironed. Soiled
items are handled in seperate plastic bin liners.
Bathing
Domiciliary bathing is carried out by the carer (or 2 carers
if required). Care and attention is paid to one's physical
condition and monitored regularly thus ensuring the safety
of the individual.
Bed Bath
Carried out sympathetically by carers.
Sitting-In Service
Our carer replaces one's normal carer (usually the spouse
or a relative) for breaks, shopping and appointments for as
many hours as required.
Overnight Care
Wake night or sleep in.
Enhanced Care
Enhanced care is provided according to one's need and to
fulfill the care manager's package of care.
Communication
Purchasers are al;ways kept informed of the client's health,
physical ability to cope, etc. with recommendations where
necessary for assessment for additional aisds, e.g. bathing
and walking aids.
Made to Measure Packages
Purchasers are welcome to discuss the individual aspects
of our service so that the most appropriate packages of care
are provided to one's satisfaction.
